Maple cabinets were replaced with Alderwood, stained in a cappuchino finish with a black
glaze. The black stain on the island compliments the black crown moulding and corner
storage piece. Granite countertops add richness and the island sink is recessed, creating
a bar height conversation area. We added a faux finish to the stove hood and elaborate
pendant lights to add to this Tuscan look.
Existing Oak cabinets were refinished in a custom stain creating a very rich, warm look.
The island was enlarged, adding pull-out spice racks and corbels for accents. The
backsplash was designed with tumbled travertine tiles on the diagonal with metal accent
pieces sporadically placed. New appliances complete the updated look.
This entire desk section was removed and was replaced with a wine storage cabinet
including a wine refrigerator. This section was made higher than the rest of the cabinets to
add interest and the granite was fabricated to be one continuous piece instead of having
two elevations. The pot rack then added character to this spacious Kitchen.
The Master tub and shower was removed to create a roomy walk-in shower with a shower
seat and glass block accents. The shutters were removed and tinted glass block replaced
the windows for privacy and sun-filtering. The cabinet was replaced, creating a vanity area
with granite countertops and two sinks. New paint colors on the walls, new mirrors and
light fixtures completed the new look.
